He was incredibly knowledgable about the city’s history, hot spots, and cuisine and it was fun to hang out with a local for the night! Highly recommend booking this tour early in your trip to get grounded in the city and be able to take advantage of some great recommendations for the rest of your time in Barcelona!

We absolutely loved this tour with Lorea visiting 3 local tapas restaurants in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. She was a lovely, personable guide and made our final evening in Spain a delight! Food was plentiful and delicious and alcohol was spot on too!

Best tapas tour in Barcelona Lorea was the best food and wine tour guide! She was a wonderful hostess and guide, with so much information and included everyone in conversation and experience. The food was delicious and no one left hungry. All 3 venues were charming and authentic tapas restaurants. Don’t hesitate to take this tour!

Fantastic Gothic Tapas tour! Well worth the time and money! We had a fantastic time with Lorea and Marc on the Gothic Quarter Tapas tour! Great to hear about the history of the Gothic Quarter and the history of the tapas. The 3 hours went by in a flash! The restaurants we visited were great and we even went back a few days later to one of them and had a great evening of tapas, drinks and conversation with other guests! Highly recommend booking with this company and doing the tour on the front end of your time in Barcelona. It gives you a good feel for the neighborhood and a good idea on what to order and we thought it a great value for 3 different restaurants, professional guided tour and local history, plus they keep the tour size to around 6 or 7 so it is intimate. Try everything! We will definitely go back and do other tours with this company when we return to Barcelona!

This food tour was one of the most enjoyable highlights of our Barcelona vacation. Our guide Esther was welcoming, knowledgeable, and so much fun. She showed us special local gems we would not have found otherwise. We stopped at three lovely restaurants, each one was unique and we tried many delicious foods and drinks that showcased the fresh cuisine and culinary traditions. The small group size allowed for an intimate experience with robust conversation and we left feeling a deeper connection with the amazing culture of the city. For a food tour led from the heart and with love, I cannot recommend Esther enough!

Lorea took my husband and me on an awesome tapas food tour in Barcelona. The evening was a highlight of our trip. She is such an informative guide and we so enjoyed the food, wine and conversation.

Met early evening had five different culinary experiences with a small group. So fun! Esther did an absolutely fantastic job. By the end of the evening the whole group felt like family and her resaturant choices and information were spot on. Highly recommend.

Great activity to do for solo travelers! Excellent activity to do when you are traveling by yourself, but don’t want to venture out alone and want to be safe! I was placed with a group and it was so much fun. We got to try local food and cuisine that I probably never would’ve ordered on my own. Anna was so friendly and energetic. She was great. Highly recommend doing this activity!

Tapas Tour Lorea is the perfect guide —- knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun! We had wonderful food at the three restaurants we visited. Learning about the dishes and the history of the surrounding neighborhood added to the enjoyment.

Lorea was also very lively and fun, and the others in our tour were also interesting travelers and fun to chat with while we ate.

The wines we tried were also delicious, and there was a good variety of different types of food.

Incredible experience Such an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide Lorea was warm, friendly and knowledgeable both about food and the history of Spain and the areas in Barcelona we visited. Each restaurant we visited was unique and definitely one we would never have known about without her. She ordered traditional dishes and was sensitive to some food preferences. The pace was perfect. This was a spectacular evening from start to finish. If you do one tour in Barcelona do this one. One hint it’s a lot of food come hungry.

We did the Catalan Wine Tasting with Sandra and she was fantastic! We didn’t know what to expect—we met up and did a short walking tour of the neighborhood as we went to a small, hidden wine bar that had awesome atmosphere and vibes.

We walked in and basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The table was set for us with cheese and fruits, and the owner greeted us with a smile. For the next few hours we sat and learned all about local wines from an expert who gave us all kinds of interesting facts about cava, winemaking, regional variations, and advice about how to taste and order wines—we learned a ton. But most importantly we got to spend some time with a really cool Barcelona native who is really passionate about her industry and fun to talk to! One of the highlights of our trip. The communication was fantastic—including understanding when we were running late and still spending the full time with us!

If you are on the fence about booking this—DO IT!! Worth every penny.
